Step into the world of canine couture with the Doggy Fashion Show! Embrace the creativity and flair of four-legged fashionistas as they strut their stuff on the runway. Whether it's sophisticated formal wear or casual chic, our event celebrates the diversity of doggy styles. With a blend of glitz, glamour, and wagging tails, this is the ultimate showcase for fashion-forward pups and their proud owners.

Judges will award prizes to 5 size categories:

  • Toy: Typically weighs under 12 pounds (5.4 kg). Examples include Chihuahuas and Pomeranians.

  • Small: Usually weighs between 12 to 25 pounds (5.4 to 11.3 kg). Examples are Beagles and Dachshunds.

  • Medium: Weighs between 25 to 50 pounds (11.3 to 22.7 kg). Examples include Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels.

  • Large: Weighs between 50 to 100 pounds (22.7 to 45.4 kg). Examples are Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherds.

  • Giant: Typically weighs over 100 pounds (45.4 kg). Examples include Great Danes and Saint Bernard

Prizes:

  • Winners from each weight class receive $250 cash
  • Overall winner will receive an extra $1000 cash, crown, and fabulous gifts from sponsors

How to enter your dog into the fashion show:

  • Submit a recent photo of your fur pal
  • Pay the $25 entry fee 
  • Email the completed application form and photo to: fashionshow@pawsfest.ca

  • Email Money Transfer $25 to:

Judging Criteria:

• Creativity & Originality – Unique and imaginative outfits that stand out. 

• Theme Adherence – How well the costume aligns with the event’s theme of Haute Couture 

• Fit & Comfort – Ensuring the outfit is well-fitted and comfortable for the dog. 

• Confidence & Personality – The dog's attitude and how they carry themselves on the runway. 

• Owner Coordination – How well the owner complements their pet’s look. 

• Grooming & Overall Presentation – Clean, well-groomed dogs with polished outfits. 

• Audience Engagement – How much the crowd reacts to the dog’s presence. 

Additional Details:

• If your Doggy doesn’t qualify for the finals at PawsFest, your entry fee in non-refundable. However, it will give you and your furpal VIP access to the event. (1 VIP Pass)

• Those dogs that make it to the final should be prepared with a total of 3 outfits. 

• Prize for each size category is a crown/tiara, $250 an additional $1000 will go to the overall winner of the entire show and will receive thousands in swag provided by our sponsors.
